A camping so different from all others! You can relax with your friends, hang out in your tent, always next to the amazingly wide Alfios River and 15 minutes away from Kaiafas Beach. While you here, you can enjoy some delicious food and extreme sports! Many facilities, excursions, and activities are available onsite!!! Things u cant find in the cities or in any other camping location in Greece!

A beautiful Private forested River Party Sanctuary giving us a magical party space, perfect for multiple days of psychedelic adventure. It exudes harmony, beauty & peace and has the magic of trees, hidden forest beings & the mysteries of the ancient Alfios River and Kaiafas Beach.

Camping area will be open from 19 – 24 of June. Nearby International Airport is Athens for those who need to fly to Greece and the Port is Patra for those who come from Italy by boat. Shuttle Buses will be available from the Athens & Thessaloniki airports straight to the festival.

Open Source  & The Free Earth is a collaboration of like-minded, dedicated Psychedelic Freedom Fighters who are committed to the revival of an authentic and profoundly transformative vibe in the outdoor party scene. This is realized through our unique family gathering in the magical realms of the Circle of Dreams, a river & forest camping setting located near the bewitching Mother City of Cape Town, on the Southern tip of Africa.

In production and development, ‘Open Source’ is both a philosophical principle & a pragmatic methodology. The ideal was initiated in the technological community as a revolutionary response to the elitist permissions culture of proprietary software owned by corporations, which reflects a struggle against oppression that resonates on many levels within our world & every living being in it.

This renegade movement integrates parallel yet varying agendas & differing approaches in production, promoting free, universal access and redistribution of a design or an idea and its implementation details. Sharing the source blueprint and opening up to widespread co-operation enables a self-enhancing diversity of construction frameworks, communication paths, and interactive communities. In this way, it unifies us all asco-creators of every transformative act in our evolution and expansion as aglobal, synchronized family.

The psy-trance community, & the electronic music scene in general, as an expression of this integrated remix culture, holds an exceptional power & responsibility for unity, harmony and global respect. We believe that by aligning with the open source paradigm we can unlock this potential as a radical catalyst forchange. The cry of the African fish eagle, a lush forest, a circle of oak trees used by travelers for 100’s of years as a sanctuary, shaded camping for every tent, a beautiful river for swimming.

DIRECTIONS: Venue is 170 km’s from Cape Town & 260 km’s from George. Take the N2 past Caledon to Riviersonderend. Go through Riviersonderend. Travel 7 km’s out of town & turn left at DR1306. LOOK FOR SIGNS! NB: Distance is relative to your desire to travel, life’s a journey, enjoy the ride.

Over the last 3 years we have been growing this trance paradise where our main goal is to provide you with a better & more comfortable place to party. The location has free flush toilets & hot-shower facilities as well as free drinking water with taps distributed throughout the camping area. The unique forest camping allows you to camp with your car and tent in full shade. Our aim is to create a symbiosis of dance, art and psychedelic, unified experiences in an enchanting environment.

Talamasca

This psytrance legend is often described with words such as pioneer, groundbreaking and innovator, but in truth, they do not do him justice.

Cedric Dassulle’s assimilation into the psytrance culture began in 1992 in Paris, a city which, at that time, had yet to be introduced to music. It was there, in the prestigious Rex Club, that he DJ’d hardcore techno for almost two years.  Little did he know that in 1994, while travelling to London with friend, he would discover an album that would change his life forever. 

Talamasca has influenced generations of electronic music lovers on every continent and has played an integral part of the creation of the global psytrance community for nearly twenty years.  A true musician with 13 years of piano playing experience to his credit, his rise from Lestat, the DJ, to one of the most accomplished and respected producers of his time took less than five years.

Fuelled by his passion for this new style of music and assisted by the technical instruction he received from two French house music producers, Steve Eli and Xavier de Galloy (with whom he co-founded Talamasca in 1996), he quickly realised that he needed to do more than just DJ. After producing 6 tracks with Steve & Xavier, Cedric took on Talamasca as a solo project and has since released eight full albums, three compilations, seven EP’s and made more than 160 appearances on other compilations, collaborations and albums.

In 1998 his journey led him to cross paths with Christof Drouillet, better known to us as Absolum, a connection which led to the formation of a new label that would dominate the psytrance music industry for many years and launch a great many careers – 3D Vision.

Six years later, in 2004, he launched his own label, called Mind Control Records, before finally settling down with the Belgium label, Dacru Records, with which he has just released his 8^th full album called Psychedelic Trance.

Each new Talamasca project is a dynamic creation that not only demonstrates his aptitude for production of the highest calibre, but also showcases his diverse musical range and declares his passion and love for the genre by communicating his intense character and robust energy to the dance floor.

His status as a global phenomenon has led him to nearly every corner of the earth, including Brazil, Cancun, Cyprus and Sinai, Morroco, Taiwan and South Africa and allowed this humble yet impressive performer to collaborate with the likes of Nomad, Oforia, Space Cat, Xerox, XSI & Mezmeriser.

His music is thought provoking, drawing on inspiration that is current and relevant while still maintaining an air of mystery, allowing the listener to interpret the music and determine how to make the journey.

It is this very unique use of issues that speak to the audience coupled with a symbiotic integration of that essential full on bass, psychedelic leads and ethereal melody that have become the signature of Talamasca’s music.

His style has evolved over the years with subtle changes that keep him at th

e cutting edge of where the music is going and what is trending on the dance floor, while somehow still threading a very definite old skool sound and feeling into his music.
